My 3D Prop Modeling Skills

So, here you go, a part of the project I'm working on for my Special Studies 3D Animation course...part of the requirement is that we're supposed to have a minimum of 20 props (yeah, it's crazy). Here's one of mine. Didn't take too long...about a total of 12 hours in the course of 2 weeks. That was me dicking around and watching Heroes in class. I'm working on other props, which i hope to show you in a few weeks after my (FINAL) semester as an undergrad is over! Woohoo! Enjoy!

Many Happy Returns!

Hi again, folks! I know it's weird, me posting stuff back to back, but don't get scared! I'm not on drugs or anything, and hopefully, this will be a continued trend! I did this piece last night, inking and all, inside of 4 hours - kind of a rush job, but one of my friends on Facebook had her birthday yesterday, and it just hit me...'why not?' So, i remembered that she studies Jiu-Jutsu, found a few pics of the outfit she wore when fighting, and bam, put that together! I wanted to put in a tinge of street fighter attitude, a la Ken Masters, but I don't know if many would get that. Hope y'all like!

Fast Service!

Hey folks! I figured I'd grace this page with some more artwork by me! This is another character inking project I was compelled to do, for the graphic novel idea running around in my head. I know, multiple works inside of a day?! what the hell's happened to Brandon?! Did he start getting laid or something?!
Y'know...enjoy!

Ink on top, pencil on bottom.

I Ain't Dead Yet, M*%#@^&!

Yeah, I know, if you still check this, you probably thought I fell off the face of the earth or something! Well, no, I haven't, I just got all busy and preoccupied, and...yeah, it's not much of an excuse, but it's all I've got! Anywho, I've got something that'll hopefully make the wait worth it! This stemmed from a concept for a graphic novel idea I came up with recently, and the sketch was sitting in my mind the entire time! I just had to sketch it out to see if I could do it. I'm pretty impressed it came out 95% like the idea I had in my head, but I thought...'I need to push this more to make it really stand out! How can I do that?'
Answer: Try inking it!
Unfortunately, for me, inking is as foreign to me as dignity is to Hollywood celebutantes (low blow, I know), but I figured I should give it a try, right? it'll be fun, and besides, there's no way to learn like doing! Ha ha...right.

I'm still fleshing out the story and characters, but it should be a good action filled time when I'm done. But for now...enjoy. Peace!

Here's just some stuff I'm working on right now, in anticipation of a comic project I'm trying to finish in...idealistically, the next 3 weeks. I'm going to have a whole bunch of other things to tend to, but I want to crank this one in particular, since I started sketching it a month ago. It's another form of catharsis with me, with what happened in the past, so for now, enjoy these previews.

a-sketchin' away

so these are some sketches I've been working on. from the top, i did the first 2 about 2 weeks ago, the third one, i believe i did last week, the randy orton sketch is definitely a month old. and the inked nude nymph i did way back in november as a commission for a tat design my cousin wanted - i just chose to add the background for myself. but yeah, with everything involving school, i don't have the time to work on them digitally. maybe after finals are over and i have that week to myself, i'll give it a shot.

Superstar

This is actually the final pencil. The motifs aren't that difficult to figure out if you know the person I made this for. I had wanted to finish it in a kind of Ed Hardy / tattoo artist design. But, so far, I like what I have.
This is what led to the piece above. It was intended as a birthday present for someone, and I had intended to surprise them by finishing this, putting it on a shirt, and mailing it to them without telling them. As I was about to do that, new circumstances arose, and life generally happens, so that didn't come to pass. I ended up putting the shirt away where no one can see it, and I have no intentions of showing the truly finished piece for this one...for now. who knows, in a while, I might change my mind. I don't think I will, but I'm not going to say 'never.' I wanted to delete everything, and burn the paper to forget, but, everything else aside, as an artist, I put WAY too much time into this whole process just to forget about it. so, what you see is what I have left. I did delete the final piece, however. Not that big a deal, I can redo it over and over. Enjoy the sketches!
